- What does a credit pay for? +
- Each tool has a fixed credit cost. Grader is 20 credits per marked answer, Mechanism Explainer 50, Concept Q&A 10, Pathway Explainer 15, and Paper Helper 15. The credit cost reflects roughly what each call costs us to run on the underlying AI models, so we can offer honest pricing without hidden margins.
- What happens if I run out of credits? +
- You can keep using Atomly until your next billing date, but new AI calls will be blocked. You can upgrade to a larger plan at any time from /account/billing — the new credits are available immediately and the prorated difference is charged on your next invoice.
- Can I cancel any time? +
- Yes. Cancel any time from your account billing page. You keep access to your plan until the end of the current billing month, then it lapses — no further charges. Your account stays open and you can resubscribe whenever.
- Do you offer student discounts or refunds? +
- Plans start at $5.99/month, which is already deliberately low for a student budget. We don't offer further student discounts at launch. For refunds, get in touch within 7 days of a charge if you weren't able to use the service — we'll work it out.
- Which plan is right for me? +
- Starter (200 credits, ~10 graded answers a month) suits light, focused study sessions. Standard (1,000 credits) is the most popular and gives you headroom for regular revision — about 50 graded answers or 100 Q&A turns. Pro (1,700 credits) is for exam season and heavy daily use, around 85 graded answers a month.
- Are payments secure? +
- Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe — Atomly never sees or stores your card details. We only store an opaque Stripe customer ID linked to your account.
